ABOUT OUR SUMMER CAMP
OORF offers horseback riding camp for kids ages 5 - 12 & NEW this year we are offering a week of camp for the TINY TOTS (ages 4-7 - July 14 - 18). The campers can be first time riders or regular students & we group them according to their experience level each week. Our goal for each camper is to have them enjoy their time with us, learn something new and feel as though they have succeeded in whatever personal goal they set out for... even if just enjoying the ponies!!
OORF's Summer Riding Camp will work on skill building with your child so that he/she is confident and comfortable working around horses. We take great pride in our fun and educational program that always emphasizes safety first.
Our staff is experienced in all areas of horsemanship and love working with children! At Out of Reach Farm we take all aspects of our jobs very seriously and are committed to providing your child with an exciting, educational and fun Summer Camp experience.
CAMP INFORMATION
Riding Day camp experience:
* 1 riding lesson per session
* Hands-on horse care daily
* Arts & Crafts daily
* Water activities throughout the week (Weather permitting)
Water fun (weather permitting, pack or wear a suit)
Scavenger hunt
Educational time (parts of horse, tack, nutritional requirements, medical needs, etc)
How to: (setting courses, braid the horse, bandage legs, etc)
Meet the farrier and ask questions...
Bareback riding when time permits
How to prepare for a horse show
What To Bring:
Helmet (can borrow daily from OORF if needed)
Boots/hard soled shoe with slight heel
Long pants/jeans to ride in. (can bring shorts to change into when not riding)
Bathing suit if wanting to do water activities
Lunch, snack and plenty to drink (we do have a refrigerator)
Our horse and ponies are all safe, gentle and willing to teach your child how to appreciate the true love of horseback riding!
HOURS:
REGULAR CAMPERS
MORNING SESSION: 9am - 12pm daily Monday - Friday (5 places per week)
ALL DAY SESSION: 9am – 3pm daily Monday - Friday (20 places per week)
TINY TOTS (July 14 - 18 ONLY)
MORNING SESSION: 9am - 12pm (10 places per week)
AFTERNOON SESSION: 1pm - 4pm (10 places per week)
COST:
$275/per camper/per week (AM SESSION ONLY)
$500/per camper/per week (ALL DAY SESSIONS)

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
BEFORE CARE:
Before care will be available starting at 8:00 am daily for $15 per camper. This must be set up no later than JUNE 1, 2025 & must be paid for at time of set up.
DISCOUNTS:
Receive $25 off per week when you register for 2 (or more) weeks of camp. The discount does not apply to the first week of enrollment. Discount is per camper, not per family.
REGISTRATION:
Please fill out our ONLINE REGISTRATION FORM. A $100 NON-REFUNDABLE deposit (Per camper/per Session) is due via Venmo to @Dawn-Bell-60. The balance of payments can be made thru Venmo to @Dawn-Bell-60, by check (made payable to "Out Of Reach Farm") or cash. Checks can be mailed to:

* If you are mailing a check for the payment then you must make a note on the enrollment & the payment must be received within 1 week.
** A Liability Waiver MUST be sent either through email or mail for each camper to be enrolled!
PAYMENTS:
A NON-REFUNDABLE deposit of $100 PER SESSION is required with enrollment. (see below for options)
An email request for balances will go out in late April/early May as a reminder. ALL balances due for ALL sessions must be paid IN FULL on or before June 1, 2025. Any balances still un paid as of June 2, 2025 will lose their spots.
Payments for deposits & balances will be accepted in forms of Venmo to @Dawn-Bell-60, by check (made payable to "Out Of Reach Farm") or cash.
